Mat Minis is our mommy/daddy and me jiu-jitsu program. Our objective is a simple one, offer an opportunity for young children to step onto the mat with their parents to have fun playing games that are loosely based around the principles of jiu-jitsu while preparing them to transition into the Mat Movers (ages 5-8) classes.

Mat Minis class for 3-5 year olds. This 30-minute class is full of fun games and simple techniques with the objective of building your child's confidence.

The main difference, outside of class duration, between Mat Minis and Mat Movers is that your child's partner is you. The parent/guardian will be on the mat with their child. A gi (uniform) is required for the child and highly recommended for the parent - otherwise sweatpants and a t-shirt is fine for the parent.
